Community

The Data Science Centre community consists of data scientists, data engineers, data stewards, and researchers across all UvA faculties.

The DSC organises regular meet-ups and events for our members, such as our Coffee and Data meet-ups and annual Away Day. The DSC also aims to promote and strengthen the already established data science community at UvA. 

How to join the DSC community

Are you already doing data-driven research and want to meet other like-minded researchers at the UvA? All data scientists and engineers working at UvA, both existing and new, are encouraged to join the DSC through the Affiliate Programme!

Every Thursday, we send out an email bulletin with all the latest updates at the Data Science Centre and other data-science related updates across UvA. This includes news about upcoming events, workshops, and call for proposals.
