The call for ‘Research Software Engineering and Support’ seeks to identify and support innovative research data and software engineering projects that will advance data-driven research at the University of Amsterdam.

The Data Science Centre (DSC), part of the University Library, is committed to enhancing data science expertise across all UvA faculties. Through our network, workshops, and training programmes, we provide resources and support for applying data science methods and technologies. This call offers (future) Data Science Centre researchers the chance to receive dedicated software engineering support for their data-driven research projects.

As part of the University Library, the Centre offers software and data engineering expertise for library platforms, research tools, and applications. Our skilled engineers provide practical, hands-on assistance and development support. You can view successful examples from last year’s Research Software Engineering and Support Call on the project website of Data Science Centre.
